Size and its visibility of a brush

    Hi,

i am new and also new in Artrage still demoing...

Is it possible to see the actual size of a selected tool/brush/eraser while painting, or is there a way (prefs?)?

I have problems to erase sth. very exactly. Where are the cursor prefs. please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello and welcome.

You can choose an outline that will give you an idea of the size of the brush. Edit/ArtRage Preferences/Cursor. Also keys 1,2 or 3 will give you the same choices.

    Hope this helps.

Is that supposed to work with the pencil tool? All my tools are showing the brush size outline, but the pencil stays in precise mode (if I set the preference to "tool" it shows the skeuomorphic pencil, but outline still shows the crosshair).

Yes, the pencil tool has always been the exception when using the outline cursor, and will remain as crosshairs.
