I never did post a final image of a painting that I was working on several years ago, so here it is. 2 of the fastest cars at the 6 hour endurance race at Watkins Glen, NY in 1971, the Porsche 917 of Jo Siffert versus the Ferrari 512M of Mark Donohue. This was the final season for these 5 liter beasts to be competing for the FIA Group 5 endurance racing World Championship.

Thanks, getting the right amount of distortion into the background was a case of trial and error. It's easy to overdo it and have it end up looking too "stylized" for a realistic forground.
