I think you got it right for so many young ladies. Very sweet painting. Glad you fished it out and posted it.

Was there a particular young one you painted this for who perhaps was taking lessons? They look like portraits where the girls have specific facial features.

Good to see you are warmed up again with the latest cat paintings. Even though you painted this before it's nice as a high water mark. Hey, we all can get rusty and all that one can do is paint through it till you're in the zone again. I'm the worst for that. Makes me crazy sometimes. But then I get warmed up again and all's right with the world.

    Good stuff, Geoff.

Thanks D-Akey , this was done in 2012 but not done for anyone in particular.
Brings back memories of my sister when she was into that kind of thing and I used to take her to her classes.
Along time ago as she is now 75

This is so beautiful Geoff and the features so delicate. You should be very proud of this painting.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world

Thanks June it’s sometimes nice to look back at one’s paintings especially after being away for so long but I feel as if I am slowly improving
