    Since the pic is overall so dark, the area of most contrast, that Naples yellow behind the beak) feels pretty extreme and pulls focus to where it seems the story point of the picture.

    That's one way to take the viewer by the hand and tell them to look at a particular thing. So if you ever want to draw attention, that's one of the big ways to do so.

    I can see the bird is right. Just the values are a bit imprecise to make it snap like you probably wanted it to.

    Yes, I think that's dose look better with a lighter background.
    Quite a striking bird, love the overall bluey/grey colours. Do you know what bird it is?

    Thanks Mark. I did a image search and tho the image appears multiple times it isn't identified. There is a similar coloured eagle - 'Chilean Blue Eagle'.
