Hi June judging by the physical size of its head I would say its a Husky / Wolf cross breed.
From a painting point of view very nicely done.

Looks like a shaman taking on the shape of a wolf/husky mix. Those markings are really reminiscent of primitive tribal decorations that no doubt had meaning.
