Since you've got an eye for critters, as Geoff commented on, I'm expecting that when some touring peacocks fly in, you'll be there to capture the moment.
I really like owls. I think if you go far enough down the family tree, you may see where a particular branch of cats took to the air. The eyes and ears put me in mind of that. Whether or not it's true, it's a fancy of mine. We do know that the owl and the pussycat went to sea, so that may be the give-away.

Watched a programme the other night on cats and their origin. Most interesting - didn't mention owls tho! Geoff, you are pretty good with eyes.
