It is a beautiful looking breed Geoff. Do you still have them? It would have been difficult to depict the volume of the coat. I have bookmarked a ref photo of one to paint but I don't want to steal your thunder.

Thanks June , Suzee was a Canadian champion,alas our last one Hunter died of old age some 9 years ago.
We had bred them for the 30 years.

Yeah, it's the sweet expression. Make me think Suzee is particularly a cuddly sort. . . given the option to snuggle up. Or maybe it looks like it 'cause it's Valentine's Day and I'm wearing those rose colored glasses.
