I really like how you played with the soft focus and then the detail of the downy feathers. Gives it a bit of a soft focus effect (mild diffusion) one might see in photography, but it has all the interest that sharp detail brings. It creates something of an aura making the little fella glow a bit with that warm amber yellow like photos I've seen of the lit-up wire inside old antique light bulbs against a black background. I love the effect. It's a really effective way to add something extra.
