Dang near perfect photorealism (again) June! Not to mention a new bouncy subject. <3
Thanks Krigen - it was doubtful to start with - my husband walked by at the ugly stage and just shook his head!

Well June, so long as your husband managed to keep his Watership Down, he gets a pass.
Speaking of relationships, I love the relationship between the clear areas of texture and color -- soft background, fuzzy fur, translucence of the ears and of course the shiny black eye and the muzzle area. They set up pockets of design which is appealing even on a non-figurative level, though clearly it's about the rabbit. But it provides a second level of appreciation.
The finish is really terrific.

Such lovely comments - thank you DA.
I have a copy of Watership Down sitting in a bookcase behind me. I also have Plague Dogs, again by Richard Adams.

Amazing! One of my favourites!
Thats lovely June, really like how the background and the rabbit colour compliment themselves.
Thanks DO and Geoff - I was happy with this one tho it took a little time to get the fur right.
