Thought I'd have a break from all that kitten cuteness! It's hot this week so a good excuse to stay inside and paint. Need I say it - Mark's brush, (again) airbrush, inkpen and palette knife.

You put so much care and attention to detail in your paintings. That subtle white highlight on the inside of the iris at the bottom left of the pupil to give it just the right hint of depth! Beautiful work.
This is so life like June , maybe I will be as talented as you one day.
BTW do you have to rub it in about how hot it is with you for the likes of me in Canada with snow on the ground Lol
Whew! Look at you go!!!!!!!!
Only note would be the center line (slightly darker center bit) up the snoot is pulling a bit to our right and you might have followed the anatomical contour a wee bit more. But all else is fantastic.

Well Geoff, it is summer here and we have had it perfect since Christmas so mustn't complain. No snow here. When I took my granddaughter to Norway to view the Northern Lights a couple of years ago, it was the first time she had seen snow!
Krigen, thanks for your comments. Painting eyes is my favourite part. Noses are a little harder for me.
DA this is the 2nd 'snoot' you have picked me up on - I'll have to pay more attention. All fixed now!
