    Cool. Looks like it's not yet ripe, or it may be a type that is always green and ready to eat that way. I'm just used to the yellow kind and when they're green they need to sit for a while to ripen.

    (And I apologise for taking so long to acknowledge them. I had some difficulty logging back into the forum.)

    Thanks June for the pointer to the other finger painter - some amazing work there, very humbling to see what others are capable of. Reminded me just how out of my depth I am here!
