    June.

    Oh God of homeless things, look down
    And try to ease the way
    Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

    Ah June, you found my weakness! And another nice painting from you
    6 years back it had been my great privilege to have shared 10 years with a black long haired German Shepard, by the name of Chulo.

    I'm thinking Stephen King would adore this:

    <summoning demonic announcer's voice>

    Half-Firestarter, Half-Cujo. . . ALL EVIL!

    This June, in theaters.

    The flaming charcoal visage may have something to do with you're feeling this canine is evil incarnate.

    Thank you Digital Seed and DA. The vivid colours are due to the combination of overlays I used. The same grouping as the recent image of a fox. The colours are nothing like I picked from the palette so it's quite a challenge and sometimes a surprise to see what appears on the canvas.

    Just a very short slideshow showing some of the process. Sorry for the site promo but that's what you get if you don't pay.

    You know I was just laughing at your unexpected description of a painting that was giving you trouble. Fun to exaggerate a reaction.

    I actually like the portrait and also your video. Has a nice experimental artistic flair.

    I'm sure the shepherd's a sweetie.

    Thank you for posting a link to the process. It is really helpful for me to see how things are built up.
