    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Oooh I like this, nice one June
Good reduction of form through lighting to leave just what’s actually needed!
Has a bit of a natural media illustrative vibe to it too.

My favorite tool used to be cats as well -- for keeping the varmints away. Interesting that in real life if you use an airbrush it also hisses and spits which makes it plenty feline. . . at least cats on the internet hiss. Mine never do unless I go to pick 'em up and they're sore or tender and they just want to heal. On the other hand, my airbrush hissed and spitted all the time.

Nice painting. I like the elegance of light against black for a nightlit or a moonlighting black cat. It's all rimlight and reflections. Super.

Thanks Mark and DA - glad you like it.

I am owned by three of the furry creatures. They all have different personalities and keep us on our toes. Sometimes sleeping on my toes at night too!
