Still painting canine themes, I see, hehe.

Nice style. Very home-like. Not like a hobbyist. More like a pro doing things for the home. Could even see this as a pattern style for a fabric.

    Very nice work.

    Hi Nika,

This is so beautiful. Looks like watercolor painting to me. I never heard of Dogrose. Really nice color palette. Like your sketching style.

    Thank you, Robert, Drayldan

D Akey: You know I like dogs! Thanks for your comment

Pai: Thanks a lot. Dogrose is a wild rose. I'm sure you know it.
My picture is made with oil technique. It's quite new for me because I used it only a couple of times before

    Nika,

The colors are extremely appealing. The painting style gives a wonderful effect. Brings an instant smile on the face.

You only had used the oil tool a couple of time before this painting?

    Wow...

This is your best painting yet IMHO... there's definite harmony between the colors and the composition is lively and keeps things interesting... do you paint with real life materials too?

    Loki: Thanks for your comment.
I tried to paint with oil about 20 years ago, a couple of times. I sometimes work with real life materials but very little (not more than 3-5 works a year, mostly sketches). I prefer charcoal, pencil, water-colours, rarely gouache. Now I'm experimenting with ArtRage but can't say how long it will last. I still like it.
