Question I'm confused between ArtRage 5 and ArtRage Pro 3

    Hello,
I have ArtRage Pro version, I purchased it few years ago (maybe 6-8...ish years ago?) but never fully looked into it. I'm a Photoshop and traditional art user and wish to move on with ArtRage; now is a good timing and I want to use it at professional level

So I've upgraded my old version to 3.5.12 (and it says it's the last version) on PC, but I'm watching a tutorial (below) with "the theater professor" who says he's using the version 4.5 or 5 for PC.
His "Settings" page has more options than mine; he also talks about importing brushes from Photoshop and I don't have the option...

So I'm confused. I believed the "Pro" version would be the more complet version... but maybe there's better now?
Is there a page where the two (5 and Pro 3) are compared?
Where can I verify if I have THE version I wish?

Thank you for pointing me into the right direction ^_^
I'm open to your opinion on the matter too! ^_^

Hello DemieLune and welcome to the ArtRage forums
Whilst v3.5.12 is the most resent version of Studio Pro it is not the most resent version of ArtRage, indeed Studio pro is no longer developed beyond being kept functional.
The most recent version of ArtRage is ArtRage5 which was released 6 months or so ago.
For a look at the differences between all the currently available versions of ArtRage have a look here: https://www.artrage.com/product-comparison/
It’s also worth mentioning that registered owners of past version, like Studio Pro, can get a discount when upgrading. See here: https://www.artrage.com/upgrades/
Hope all that was of some help to you.

Hi, here an old owner of Studio Pro 3.5.12 on an old Wacom pen & touch tablet. So it's nearly 10 years using and still liking it very much.
I'd like to upgrade to AR 5 but I wonder if a new tablet/digital pencil should be needed. I don't use iPads nor any mobile device, because a lack of good sight, so I prefer big screens and desktops. Can someone tell me more about this?
    Thanks anyway

Hello LealSoria and welcome to the ArtRage forums
The current retail version of AR is ArtRage 6 and was released this summer.
With regards your old tablet, if Wacom are still releasing drivers for it then it should still work with AR6.
If you want to you could download the Demo version of AR6 and see how well it works with your tablet before upgrading your old version of AR. You can find the Demo here: https://www.artrage.com/demos/
And don’t forget that as an existing owner of AR you can get a 50% discount when you upgrade to the latest version. Details here: https://www.artrage.com/upgrades/
