Blend ?

Hi everybody,

In your opinion, what is the best way to blend colors? Each medium and technique is different, what do you think about it?

Hey Claudine,

I prefer Harsh Chaos for watercolour, or the hard wet blender for smaller areas and the Hard out smear for both pastel and oil (lovely directional blending and much like using a finger on real pastel and sanded paper, or a palette knife on real oils)

what about your thoughts?

I feel puzzled because when I watch videos on youtube, my experience is not really the same. I retain the knife tool, real color blending and many, many tests to do what I want, but the system is not very intuitive. I am trying to avoid overrunning, but I feel I could do better, so I do have some questions. Ink is also a subject of difficult study for blending and pastel...
