    Composition Re-work of Apple Painting

    Looking for some feedback about the process and results of my composition based re-work.

    The final version is significantly improved. The opening between the two cylindrical objects is not distracting as it is in the original version. The angle of the table now better suits the composition and the right edge nicely repeats the upper edge of the apple shadow. That shadow might have been more interesting with more textural detail. All in all though a lovely realistic still life. Fine work.

    This painting is incredible, so realistic looking. You mastered the technique of light against dark to bring out a realistic look in the apple.
