    Is this art as therapy? It's wonderfully rendered but disturbing and one can only hope that it doesn't come from personal experience.

    This is distilled grief and pain. I cannot overstate the impact and the importance of this image. Speggie, mate you are wide open as an artist right now, emotions at full strength. Good on you for painting it and sharing it. This kind of image has a tendency to end up in art history books.
