Finally ! we got a decent soaking rain here in central Oregon, its been many months since that happened. The deep rain really brightens up the desert and soils to give really rich hues.

Has that peppered by raindrops and lots of them kind of feel -- as if there are still echoes of the storm in concentric ringlets like when droplets are falling into puddles.

yes that was the texture I wanted and the sage-green is the color of a lot of lichens found here in Oregon so it is a tribute based on color and texture..
