I love your brilliant blue little bird-it seems just ready to fly from the branch.
Your cat bird is a fun experiment i quite believe it would happily exist throught the looking glass with the cheshire cat
The owl makes me think of a bookplate illustration like those people had to know if someone had forgotten to return their borrowed treasures of the library- i like him very much

Haha, love the cat bird, Chuck, and the pin, beautiful! I've been zen doodling in a notebook for a while now, and really enjoy it.

    Enjoy all of your artwork.

May I ask how you got the rough canvas look in post #14.

Nice technique. Love the sky with all the texture and colors. Compliments very nicely your overall style.

I understand making music as being a distraction. It's far more demanding of one's time. If you don't play music for a while it really shows. With painting it's easier to jump back in after a lapse. Maybe not with everybody, but at least I'm reaching that conclusion with my playing.

Anyway, really pleasing painting, simple as the subject is. You made it really a treat to see.

    Know the feeling.

Really good birds. Love the textures you get out of AR, with this patchwork Impressionist background
