    It was ultra-relaxing to paint... while listening to Celtic fantasy music. : )

    Very nice! I think the outline to the Blue Jay is really expressive

    I like this very much- especially how the head is detailed but the rest is loosely painted. Is it watercolour?

    Enug; The Blue Jay is mostly with the oil brush. But, I tend to just grab tools without thinking.... I probably grabbed the wet palette knife. I haven't tried the watercolor brush much, that is something I need to explore.

    Tonight's painting... a wise old owl. : )

    Really nice, each in their own way. I especially like the owl. Has unexpected marks that well suggest 'owl'. It's a very clever approach, and as Pat said, we get to experience the process with you as our minds work with what you described and didn't need to say. Engaging.

    Chuck_M you are really picking up ArtRage in a hurry, I love he technique and colors in these paintings... very well done..
