    Thanks Mr Ploos, for the challenge it is open to interpretation. I like the clean line of his neck without the collar.

    Thanks, Gary and Mr Ploos. It's not really a contest as everyone is a winner! A selection of photos is posted and you can choose one or all to interpret in your own style or medium. Digital is accepted but it seems most are oil, watercolour, pastel, etc. I haven't taken part before and thought it would be a bit of fun to see the variety of styles.

    Very cool. The face looks really good. You put a lot of consciousness into your depictions of animals. They seem very present. Nice quality to give your work a paw up. Glad you're having so much fun with it. That's the spirit!

    Thanks, DA - yes I get a lot of pleasure from painting animals. However, I wish I didn't have to go thru the 'ugly' stage where I feel that I've lost the plot and have to push myself to continue and not scrap the piece. It always surprises me when something starts to come together and I have an image with which I'm happy.
