    Question Panel Sharpness

Using a 1680x1050 display, I find the sharpness of the panels could be improved. When scaling to anything apart from normal, the panel quality reduces even further. Is there any way to improve the sharpness of the panels?

On a 1:1 display the panels should be crisp as the source images used to create icons and the rendering system for controls is designed to work at 1:1. At other zoom levels the crispness will be lost as the app doesn't support variable DPI at this point in time. If your display isn't 1:1 then the OS will be scaling the panels to maintain visible size and that could be causing a loss of sharpness. This is something we're looking at for a future update.

Please make this a top priority. It's aggravating that high-PPI scaling is a feature that is available in ArtRage 4 but missing from ArtRage 5.

Just to clarify - ArtRage 4 didn't actually do any high PPI scaling. It had the inbuilt ability to stretch the panels to a higher scale but all that did was a visual stretch, it didn't increase the pixel density of the images so would have resulted in blurred controls much the same as if you set Windows scaling to zoom in when using ArtRage 5 on higher PPI monitors.

The removal of the internal scaling system was reqiured as part of a shift to a procedural interface that should hopefully allow us to implement a HiDPI system in ArtRage.
