    I've never seen a softer cat. Very sweet painting. Really interesting how you have the subject so soft while the background has a sharper pattern. I think that makes the cat all the softer by contrast. Marvelous. Great colors. Cat lovers would be falling all over themselves to have this one. Well done, June! You've found your thing with animals I suspect.

    Thasnks DA. I'm a lover of all animals and perhaps it shows. I would love to be able to paint loosely but I think it's the 'perfectionist' in me that prevents me from being able to paint in that style.

    Nothing whatsoever wrong with precision. Besides, I think there are those animals who are too vein to sit for a loose painting. They want everyone to admire just how beautiful they are naturally.
