    square-canvas-2 brush in Artrage 5

The upgrade to Artrage 5 this past year was worth it for the square-canvas-2 brush alone! Used that brush for the entire (attached) oil painting - print size 16x20". Also, Artrage5 is my go-to program for the line smoothing "ink pen" when I am doing b/w line illustrations.

Super nice painting! A very satisfying amount of detail. Subtleties are working in a very pleasing proportion. Good color and values. You have a good eye and really did get a lot out of that brush. Congrats!

Wonderful! I wish that brush would work like that for me.

I totally agree with your assessment of the square-canvas-2! I have posted about it several times on the forum.

The other thing I have done is to create at least 5 other square-canvas-2 brushes and set the grain amounts to 22%, 26%, 30%, 34%, 38%. Sometimes the default grain is to pronounced for an image and this is a great easy way to tone down that grain quickly.
