    Animation made using art rage

OK not an animated marvel but it is only my second attempt . Each frame was drawn and painted in artrage then the frames were put together in a video editing programme .

Thank You Sabena . The way that I did this was I drew each stage of the sequence on a separate layer and then exported each layer as a separate picture which I placed in a video editing programme . When all pictures are played one after the other really fast it creates the illusion of movement . This animation took 40 separate drawings to make . Here are a few stills Click image for larger version.

ID:	94143 There are computer programmes that allow you to do this all as one process but I can't afford them so I have had to resort to trusty Artrage which I am pleased to say worked OK . Hope to do more at a later time but it is a time consuming process .

    Great stuff!

Do you export each layer individually to an image? (which for 40 layers could take a while) as there is an ArtRage script that can do this for you

Thanks for the link RedSaucers . I will have to have a look at that . It didn't take to long to export but if I make longer animations I will have to export more stills ( layers ) that would probably take quite a bit of time .
