    Various stuff

Here are two things I sort of impromptu made. The fuschias were watercolor, the real kind. I painted them in about 15 minutes during my break. Old timers here know how hard on myself I am but considering no planning went into them I'm happy.

This crane is simple, anybody could do it. I drew it while sitting ina doctor's waiting.

These weren't done in AR but I posted them for new folks as inspiration. Using AR helped me to practice.Moral of the story: Don't give up, at some point in every painting or drawing you'll just want to trash the whole thing. Don't.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/

Thanks. I feel a lot more comfortable with the bushes and pencils. I never really considered digital as a legit medium until a professional artist convinced me that it IS real. She submitted that of Ver Meer or Sargent would have had ths as a tool they would use it. I had no counter to her point and started to believe that it's as real as oil or water color.
