    Importing Image

If I create an image in another app (like Procreate), is there a way to import the image into the ArtRage app?

Yes. It's not quite as easy as on Android, because iOS apps often don't talk to each other directly, but you can export your image as JPG or PNG (whatever it supports) from Procreate to your iPad picture gallery (or to Dropbox or email), and then import that image to ArtRage.

To start a new painting from that image, go to the Gallery and tap the '+' up in the top right. To add it to a layer, go to the layers menu, and to add it as a reference or tracing image, go to the Refs menu (you can also add a tracing image then turn the tracing image into a paint layer).

You can also copy and paste directly into ArtRage, just open a painting and go to the layers menu.
