    Is there symbolic or mythological significance in the visual difference between the upper and lower face of the Lady? What does it mean or portend?

    There is no symbolic or mythological significance to my knowledge. This was just a master study I wanted to try.

    It's very beautiful. The complete portrait is wonderful.
    I am particularly drawn to the treatment of her eye, which is both beautiful and makes a compelling focal point. Lovely.
