Custom Brush Square Canvas 2 and a Daniel Ibanez video

Daniel has created some great videos using Photoshop and ArtRage. In one of his latest AR5 videos he discovers the Custom Brush: Square Canvas 2 created by Sav Scatola (www.boxy.co.uk). I just tried this brush for the first time and all I have to say is wow! What a treat it is to paint with this brush! Using just one color and changing its values/saturations I spent ten minutes just blending on the canvas. This brush and AR5 feels like the real-deal and you forget it is digital. Excellent work Sav, Daniel and ArtRage!

Thanks again Daniel, for helping me to be a more "painterly" painter!

Hi Robert, I love these videos! they are a great resource to anyone, although I work abstractly now all the elements you describe apply directly to my work and the
most successful ones make use of all the principles you describe ....

    Hi Robert,
Well I'm very late to this, but thanks for the links, what an inspiration! I'm over the moon you like the brush, they were all so much fun to create but it's great to find one that hits a sweet spot.
    Happy Raging.

It is a great brush Sav. Thanks again for creating it. I use it and a modified version of it with the grain size set to 35%. This way the modified brush has all the great blending capabilities of your brush with a little less detail of the hairs of the brush. I go back and forth between the two brushes as I paint. Yours works great for the last few strokes of detail to give the top of the painting that painterly look. Just like how Daniel painted that painting of the video you posted.

    Thanks again!

Sorry Robin. The custom Brushes are still only available in the desktop version of ArtRage. I don't know if they have plans of updating the iOS version with that feature.
