"Dry" was on and off, depending on what i was trying to do. Sorry, but I can't break that down any better...

beautiful work Skylar.. I was wondering why you paint such large images at high dpi? Do you intend that
that might get printed later? I have found that things run much quicker with smaller size and lower dpi but
when I resize they tend to lose clarity past a certain size. Recently I have tried the other direction and
gone for very high dpi ( 600) and while with some tools it is slower to paint the images print much sharper
even without resizing to a larger image.. and if I do resize to a larger image ( 30"x40") they still come out
    sharper..

    Image Sizing

When I first discovered AR, it was 2.5 ver. I had little experience with digital, and actually learned how to paint with AR. I also had an older computer, with which I could overwhelm the processor. I painted an image on the small side for all the underpainting, and such things as sky, pastorals, etc. As my computers improved, I pushed the limits of the software. Now, I have a very fine All-In-One computer, and the latest ver. AR5. I routinely paint at a size from 9x12 (2700x3600 pxl.), and higher, (always at 300 ppi.- which is the standart ppi (dpi) for commercial printers . It is for purpose of prints. The file size does limit the size you can enlarge it, and still keep that crispness of the original. Hope I explained things...
