    ArtRage Meet Textile Design!

Some of you may not know that last year VIDA ( www.shopvida.com ) selected me as one of their
artist designers. Since then I have been using ArtRage to design patterns that appear on their custom printed womens tops, scarves, mens pocket squares
home accent pillows and tote bags.. I have found that what makes for a great painting does not always translate
into what make for an interesting textile design. But I am still using AR and the new AR5 has some great tools especially the custom brush to design textile patterns.

VIDA recently selected my collection to be curated by them so currently one of my designs called "Jungle Fire" is featured on their home page
and they created and photographed it top with a live model. All very excited and just shows that ArtRage can be used in the creation
of lots ways including clothing and textile designs.

    Congratulations, those designs look fantastic!

I don't want to rain on the parade, but if anyone is considering joining VIDA, it's worth checking their TOS out first. There's an article here that's a bit worrying: https://theartistsjd.com/vida-tos/

Yes their TOS is pretty bad compared to industry standards, I knew that so the work I produce for them is with that in mind and not any I would not want them to have under those terms. Thanks Hannah for commenting and sharing the link
