    Bow Wave

I have been studying some of the works by Frank Stella, and loved a lot of his work, I had only been familar with his early Black Painting, and missed out on the other 50 years of work!
so this is a process painting as opposed to a conceptual work where the work is based on a preconceived concept. The work evolved as I worked making informed intuitive decisions as I worked and wrestled
with what was in front of me...so this was that result. Happy Saturday to you all!

Kinda cool. Switching patinas to interesting effect. You do move your way around the palette in interesting ways. I quite like the springboard of the subject to give ideas for various directions in this one. Waves, bow, each interesting and nicely combined. Well done.
