Installation of ArtRage 5 failed on Windows 7

    Hi,
i know the Artrage team did a great work to create Artrage 5. I looked at the videos on youtube
and purchased Ar5 and download it to enjoy this great software.

Unfortunately the installation stopped with an alert containing these text:
    ...disk1.cab has an invalid signature...
The installation rolled back all changes (That's cool).

With Artrage 4.5 the installation was never a problem on Windows 7.
    So what's happend?

    Can someone please help me?
    Thanks...

The first thing to do would be to redownload the installer. We've tested on Win7 and that error usually indicates that there is a problem with the specific downloaded file you're using. If you download it again (from the Member Area if the store link isn't available) please make sure to save it to your computer, don't 'Open' it from the download link as that will fail.

When that is done, try running it again and see if that helps.

If it doesn't, there may be a problem with the Windows Installer system retrieving security certificates online to validate the installer, but that's not common at all. Let us know if the re-download doesn't help!

    Wink Problem solved

    Thanks for helping

The first installation of Artrage 5 fails because system was offline.
Artrage 4.5 contains a security certificate already and could be installed offline.

Artrage 5 seems to need an internet connection to install properly.
I could start Artrage and play with the new brush engine ( WOW ).

And now i'll paint with artrage until the dog äh doc comes

I wish you a nice rest.

The security certificate system was the same for 4.5 but it's possible that your computer already had the old certificate on it. Glad to hear it's working now though!
