Color Sampler - Turn off "With Lighting" for scraps and views

Is there a way to disable "With Lighting" for the color sampler when using it with scraps and views (references)?

This.... might be a bug. I've passed it along

(Both those things are references, and the default Reference Image has no need for canvas lighting, so that is why it works that way. But whether it's fixable, we will find out )


edit: Sorry, that can't be changed. As far as the color sampler is concerned, all reference images are just images, without lighting properties.
