AR5 Release Date Announcement?

Just curious when you guys plan on announcing a release date for Artrage 5. Getting too excited for it. Lol

We'll announce the date as soon as we're sure we're reliably about '1 week' or '3 weeks' or whatever away from actually having it ready

Currently we're in the 'it's almost done but new bugs just showed up because of the thing we just fixed WHY DOES EVERYTHING KEEP EXPLODING' stage.

We have waited this long and what's a few weeks? I know I'm excited to get the new version. The interface, custom brushes and pastels are well worth waiting for (wwwf)!

Nope. We have to update the store system and member area before anyone can give us money for, or easily download, ArtRage 5.

Isn't it now normal practice to release the beta as the finished product and then fix it with a paid patch ( sorry , I mean update ) in a years time ?

I realise you are joking, but I just thought I'd say, in my experience Ambient Design are possibly one of the most upfront, open and straightforward software companies you are likely to come across anywhere. :-)

Yes , that's what I really like about them . It's a pity more software company's don't work the same way . It's also why I will probably switch to using AR5 as my main art program and never again update the software I have been using .
