    pastel and blending

    I frequently use oil in ArtRage and have been trying soft pastel mainly on coarse paper. I wonder what is the best knife to blend colours. I have tried a number and they smear. Thanks.

    If you just want to blend colour, but not the texture/media itself, reduce the pressure in the settings for the palette knife. 0% pressure will only blend colours.
