ArtRage Preferences – Advanced Preferences – Choose (Not working?)

I want ArtRage to go to my own temporary files folder:
So I made in the “ArtRage Preferences – Advanced Preferences – Choose” the following chage
Not the default on my SSD C:\Users\MyName\Documents\ArtRage Paintings\
But on My HardDisk drive D:\ MyName\Documents\ArtRage Paintings\
    Stopt ArtRage Closed the PC
But after starting Art Rage it looks in the default map and not in the HD drive map.

When I click on Open User Stickers Folder or on Open User Stencils Folder it still Shows the default Map.
What can I do about that?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello JMMK
Actually what you are trying to change is the default location of is the user's Custom Content folder. Correct?
Unfortunately this can not be set by the user.

The choice of locations being offered in AR’s Preferences is for where it should store temporary files. I think these files contain info AR needs for Undo’s etc… and contain no user usable data.

Hellow markw, thank you for the answer.

I installed on the D drive, because the SSD is not to big
    That’s the reason I moved them all to the D:\ MyName\Documents\ArtRage Paintings\
So if I understand correctly, than there is no possibility to redirect that? Not even in the Registry?

Not at this point, sorry, we just use the standard OS documents folder.

    Thank you MattRage,

Too bad, but I do have a solution found to save space on the SSD, through shortcuts. (6.44 GB is brought back to 883kB)

Is it likely to happen in a future update, or are there no plans for it yet?

    Best regards,
