    Bee Eater

    Greetings All:

I am new to the forum, but, I am a long-time artist (pencil, pen & ink sketch, watercolor, calligraphy, and professional photographer). I use several drawing and painting applications including ArtRage 4.5.x for Windows. I have not tried the Android app.

I have been churning out images for a ornithology calendar. This is an Australian Bee Eater.

The next image is a really fuzzy bluebird that is at the Columbus Zoo. Evidently, it is common in several African countries. The bird is a Racket-Tailed Roller.

    Wow, very nice!

Among other things (like color palette!) I admire how fuzzy the bluebird is. Just the texture is very clearly a feather-fuzz rather than a fur-fuzz or even downy-fuzz.
