After seeing my painting of their family dog who died recently, another of my granddaughters asked for a painting for Christmas, of her dog as a puppy. I used mainly airbrush and textures.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.
