How do I create and place an Avatar into AR

When logged in click on "Private Messages' in the toolbar 2 lines below the ArtRage logo in the upper left of the page.

Look in the left hand column. 3 sections down you will see:

My Settings
* My Profile
* * Edit Avatar

That's where you can put up an avatar. I think they're rather small. A jpeg or gif file (animated or not as size matters) and some others I don't know about offhand.

Others may be able to tell you the sizes and formats you can use. But if you hunt around the directions should be somewhere on that page. But I don't know details.

Thank you D Akey. This information will help to start me,now all I need is to create one in AR,I hopeI create an Avatar using AR but have no idea as to how to get it into a post.
