    Lighting the Beacons

At a time of an imminent invasion in England about five hundred years ago , Beacons sited on top of the highest hills would be lit to alert everyone that an attack was about to happen and would give the defence people time to get ready, this was much faster than messages by horserider and could be seen for many miles....This painting is just my idea of what it would have looked like......Hope you like the picture....Jack.

Was one of the most spine tingling sequences in the Lord of the Rings movies. It's like watching a lit fuse with a huge bang on the end.

Really great fire and lighting, Jack. Very exciting.
