    Pat, your best ever!

Whatever you're putting on your cornflakes, send me some.

Spectacular colors. They work great in their respective contexts. And of course the forms are super dooper all around from the waves to the figure. Hand is almost there. The dark line between the thumb and other fingers/hand is maybe a little dark and long. Not a big deal, but it's noticeable because it's a dark line against a light skin so it shows up good or bad. Easily fixed. Perhaps shorten it a little and lighten the line a wee bit so it's not quite so eye pulling. But a superb effort all around. No kidding. Fantastic head -- probably the most important part of this painting. And you did a great job on her. She looks beautiful and expresses an emotion very clearly.

Was your husband in the Navy or something? You do a lot of women looking expectantly out to sea. Or perhaps just a metaphor?

Keep getting better and better <--- comes with the territory as well as the intention and joy I see in your stuff.

The softness and folds of the fabric are captured so well. Beautiful!

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.
