The Barrier on the Alps, many different eaglenest castles, unbelievable town architecture like in Verona, Genoa, Pisa, Urbino, Amalfi, Lecce, Perugia and many more, stunny rocky and sandy seascapes in Sardinia, capri/Ischia, Cinqueterre or Trapani or Salento .... many different civilisations architectures left ....
Should anyone look for a limited area and still be able to get inspiration to create quite different fantasy places and towns, there's no other comparable choice, I find.
