Is it common to have the cursor freeze while using the select tool? I am still using the demo on my mac 10.11.5 can not decide if want to buy at this time. Also would like to know if the manual is written for just PC,it seems some key board shorts while not work on Mac. Thanks

It shouldn't be freezing. Is it only when you use the Selection tool?

The shortcuts and manual should be basically the same on a Mac, you'll just use Cmd and Option instead of Ctrl and Alt - there's a full list of keyboard shortcuts here, switch to the Mac tab: https://www.artrage.com/manuals/artr...oard-commands/

Thank you. I searched out your recommended site for short cuts and found it in your home page which is entirely different from the manual in the AR program, why is this? It would seem that the home page manual may be better,yes/no ? Now that I find that there is a difference I will use both. After all this research maybe one day I will actually get to complete a painting. If nothing else it does pass the time on a dull or raining day.

They should be the same - can you tell me what part of the manual you're looking at? The manual may not include everything because there is so much detail to cover.

The list from the website is taken from the actual shortcuts menu inside the program so I know it's accurate (if it's not, that's my fault!).

This is what I did while on the AR page. under help/manual. Then with different combinations of just key board/short cuts/and key board short cuts I got to pages 4-5-16-24(under Edit-g)-70-81-82-106 & 108.None of these pages looked like what you sent me. Your web site did It could still be my error and I am using a macbook pro if that makes a difference. I hope this helps. Than you

Oh! Are you trying to use shortcuts to navigate the manual? I see, I thought you meant there were incorrect shortcuts listed in the manual.

Okay, in that case: the manual is just a PDF so it will open in whatever you are using to read PDFs on your computer, and behave according to whatever that program's settings and shortcuts are.
