    Stencils from photos

I just discovered the ability to make a stencil from a photo. So started trying different types of photos. Here is a painting I did from a peony. I started with white paint on a blue background, then went in with watercolor, airbrush and the wet palette knife to get more color and shadows into the flower. I then went back in with some white oil pastel to really make some bright whites.

I'd love to see what others might do with stencils from photos. Name: Peonie from stencil.jpeg

Very nice painting - it's great fun playing with stencils.

The possibilities working with stencils, and all of the tools in ArtRage for that matter, are intriguing to say the least. Please keep experimenting.

Love the colors. Detailed but loose at the same time making for a very appealing image.
