I fancied doing a distance picture, really meant to go for a longer distance than this but it turned out quite well so I'm posting it....Hope you like the result....Jack.

You paint terrains so well - I really like the detail and the palettes you use.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
That walk the world

Lovely colors and details!
Very realistic and lovely. I would hang this on my wall and just sit and gaze at it.
Easy to imagine being on the prow of a long boat heading for shore for all kinds of mischief, as olden times adventurers were want to do.
It certainly is effective, if not a little hard and inhospitable, as the terrain feels. Good tone for a picture.

It's perfect.
Whatever Your process, tricks and tips are now, You really set-up and improved a most impressive world creation capability which looks better and has an artistic content with reference to computer virtually generated environments.
Your sea and British looking landscapes and building are exceptional as quality and poetry.
This is simple as a composition, a successful experiment, nonetheless it's delightful to stare at it!
Panta rei (everything flows)!
I have added some footpaths, castle ruin and a couple of Ships....To make it a bit more interesting ( I Hope)......Jack.

beautiful work jacktar, I like the sense of scale and distance the ships and castle give to the scene, I think it improves an already excellent work!..
Oh yes! Brilliant! It all really comes to life now. I like how you made it all consistent as well so it's seamless that you did them so far apart in time. All looks like it was planned this way. Great job Jack!
