Question Adjusting height / width ratio

    Hello,
as I am a sheer newbee as well with ArtRage than in using a tablet , maybe I'll ask pretty silly questions...

Is it possible to adjust the height / width ratio ?

When I draw a square on the tablet, it becomes a rectangle (2X wider than high) .
The horizontal sensitivity is then also 2 x greater.

    I use a HUION 1060 Pro +

Thanks to anyone who will answer this.

Hello m.devil and welcome to the AR forums
As tablets very seldom have the same proportions as screens, to work correctly they have to “map” themselves to your screen proportions, automatically or by user setup.
Because of this "mapping" if you were to draw a perfect square on the tablet, it would indeed not be a perfect square on the screen. This is normal.
So the trick to using drawing tablets is not to look at them as you draw and look only at your screen and what is happening there.
It can take a bit of getting used to!
But it also might be worth you just making sure you have the tablet correctly mapped to your screen, just in case something is off in the setup.

    Thumbs up Thank you!

    Thank you markw.

In the mean time, I've solved the problem.

It was indeed a question of mapping the device used surface to the screens size.
It will not take long for another silly question ...

    Greetings,

    Michel
