HELP !!! Lost my work

Hello,
I made an illustration yesterday in Artrage, as I often do. No problem. This morning I opened it to finish my colours, and few minutes later, Artrage crashed… Well, it may hapen, no worries! I see the thumbnail of my file which looks OK (last changes saved). BUT as I open my ptg file, the file is… empty !!! No layers, no drawing, no colours…
May I hope to recover anything or is it lost forever???

Hello David,
If you are keeping incremental backups of projects, or indeed system wide backups, then retrieving the most recent copy of the effected file from those would be your best option.
If you don’t have backups, then all is not quite lost!
Launch ArtRage on it’s own first, then go to File > Import Image File…
This will get the damaged file into AR but only as a single flat image. Sadly all the other painting data will be lost but it will at least give you something that you can continue working from maybe.

Backup? Well, I'm a bad boy, so no I don't have any backup file… But the import file option is cool! This makes my day, and saved my work
