Quick, call Christopher Columbus! The Earth actually is flat. Ooops. He just went out for a pack of cigarettes, you say? Well, that's what he said about the taste of that last smoke. Flat. (sorry, I think I'm channeling old cigarette commercials from the 1960s.)

Rather doom-filled image. Very articulate to me. And it certainly brings new meaning to the notion of nightmarishly being pulled to the brink by something as out of our control as our very planet's topology.

I have to say that's the way i feel in fact......flat,flat as my fantasy right now;(, the way i feel doomed because of these subjects in the com's of the 60's i used for +-30 years
